Apple Turnovers

Every year I participate in ArtFight I always come out with a couple illustrations that I'm really happy with, and oftentimes get added to my portfolio. This is one of them this year! I knew after reading the character description exactly what cozy cottagecore environment I wanted to put her in, but I also wanted to challenge myself by pushing my understanding of light & color in the space! One of my favorite parts to paint in this one was the food!!
