Tlaloc The Rain God

My first project of the Spring Quarter from my favorite class, Visualizing the Macabre and Divine. My chosen god is Tlaloc of the Aztec culture, a rain god who, like most of the other Aztec gods, rides the line between Macabre and Divine. His design was very interesting to translate, looking to carvings and Aztec clothing and headdresses for reference, and the eclipse is not only a celebration of the incredible even ta
